Develop practical kitchen, service and restaurant-management capabilities for food-service careers. From the start, your learning stays close to the workplace as you practise food service, restaurant operations and customer experience through hands-on activities and real-world challenges. You’ll leave ready to contribute with confidence, pursue opportunities such as restaurant supervisor or food-service team leader, or turn your skills into an enterprise of your own.

Entry requirements
Your path to ECC may begin in different ways. The requirements below show the routes available for this programme, and our Admissions team can help you understand how your qualifications fit.
Applicants must meet at least one published route: NVQ-J or CVQ Level 2 certification, CCCJ academic entry requirements, Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition, or mature entry.
Mature applicants with relevant sector experience must pass college-readiness tests in English and Mathematics and submit a professional portfolio; bridging courses may be required.
Entry into Year 2 may be considered where the applicant demonstrates all required Year 1 or Occupational Diploma outcomes.
